I'm Nick — a cool guy that made this site to help you get to know me better. I write music and enjoy spending time doing self-hosting, but also love getting outside and enjoying nature. I am looking for new friends so if you're chill and want to hang out, go to the contact page (but look around a little first)!

Highlights

  1. 2024

    Graduated College

Finished college at CSU and spent 13 months desparately looking for a job before finally landing one at Golftec. Was living with my partner in Fort Collins, but moved back in with my parents down near Centennial so I could commute to work every day.

  2. 2025

    Began Singing lessons

This was probably the biggest thing I did this year. I started singing. I'm a musician, but had never put any vocals into any of my tracks because I couldn't sing. I am still not that good as of the time I am writing this (07/2026), but I am definitely better that when I started.

  3. Now

    Grinding it out

Doing a lot of things right now. I am working full time at Golftec still, I am streaming video games (mostly Halo), I am making/editing YouTube videos, I am writing an EP, and I am living with my partner.

IT Technician

Golftec

I spend all day making sure other peoples' shit works. The company I work for is leisure, it's a sports company meant to coach people on how to play better golf using technology. It's kind of a perfect fit because I play golf (varsity in high school) and have a bachelors in computer science.

Hobbies

What I do when I'm not working.

  1. Home Lab & Self-Hosting

Running my own servers, cameras, and media stack — because someone has to keep the blinking lights on. Media stack of choice is Jellyfin, I have a 20TB hard drive with hundreds of hours of movies and TV shows at the tip of my fingers.

  2. Music

I have been writing music for about 3-4 years now and started singing within the last year. I have been getting better consistently in all areas of writing and recording, still struggle with vocals the most, mostly because of confidence. I have not released my music, though I'm not opposed, I just haven't written something that feels good enough to want to share. One day...

  3. Streaming

I play lots of games and also love to hear the sound of my own voice. I think it's a lot of fun to put social and performance pressure on something I've been doing for so long (gaming) and I've found a couple of cool people to play with while doing it.

  4. Gaming

Similar to streaming, but just for the love of the game. I really enjoy FPS games like Halo and COD, but also like single player games like Outlast, Silent Hill, Fable, etc. I also really enjoy co-op games, especially ones related to the backrooms.

  5. Movies/TV

I like to follow the lore of the Star Wars universe so I've been getting into Maul, Andor, and the mandalorian. I've seen all the star wars trilogies and I think ep 3 is the best, that scene with Ani and Obi Wan where Obi was says "I loved you" was perfect cinema.

I also really like 'tires' which is Shane Gillis' and Steve Gerben's show about a failing tire shop: 10/10.

I watch the lord of the rings and the hobbit trilogies once every single year. I love all of them.
Hobbit > LoTR. I haven't seen the new spin off show, I heard it wasn't good, but I mostly don't care to watch it because I have too many other things I want to see first.

At the time of writing this, I just watched the new obsession movie and the new backrooms movie. Obsession was gas, backrooms was cheeks. I don't think they could've made a more boring backrooms movie if they tried.

  6. Cars

I love cars. I used to drive an Audi A4 (b7) and I loved it. 6 speed stick shift, AWD, murdered out. It was a fantastic car. Got rid of it when the cost to maintain it exceeded what it was worth. My all time favorite car is a 1991 S13 (Nissan 240SX). I've wanted one for so long, and while I probably could afford it, I don't think I want to get one until I have a place to store it while I'm not driving it. One day... haha
